Brussels sprouts are great on raw salad and also very tasty roasted on its own or mix it with other vegetables. Here I make Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Bacon. Cook the bacon until crispy while you bake the brussels sprouts and crumble it. You can also use the ready bacon bits if you preferred.

The natural taste of brussels sprouts is a slightly nutty flavor just like broccoli or kale. Because of I have a daughter who has a nut allergy, so I add pumpkin seed instead of nuts to the recipes. It adds crunch to the roasted brussels sprouts. If you are not into maple syrup, you can definitely replace it with honey.

Oh yea, try these recipes too for a quick and easy meal for any busy weekdays.

I love brussel sprouts but I don’t know why I only make a couple times a year. Roasted in the oven is amazing but I haven’t tried with bacon yet. I have some in the fridge right now so I’m going to give this a try. Looks yummy 🙂

Oh this sounds awesome! My supervisor asked me a get to know question today since I am new to her team…the questions was what is a favorite food of yours that most people consider gross. Of course my answer was brussels sprouts, and now I have a new recipe to try! I know that if more people cooked them properly (aka not mushy!) there would be a lot more fans. Thanks for sharing!
