This dairy-free smoothie is fresh by using the sweet yellow tomatoes, a perfect recipe to use up these freshly picked tomatoes from the garden.

I love gardening. I have a small vegetable garden in my backyard. This year I plant yellow variety tomato. This variety has very sweet and juicy flavor, pair it with avocado, peach and little bit orange juice perfect for morning smoothies.

Yellow tomato variety could be the Lemon Boy tomato, Yellow Pear tomato, or Sungold Cherry tomato. All have great taste, sweet and juicy. Especially the Yellow Pear variety is perfect for snacking.

Tomato is a perfect ingredient for smoothies. Especially during summer when there is overabundant of homegrown tomatoes. Or when you make a trip to a farmer market, there always lots and lots of tomato varieties on boxes or shelves. So, you can use these sweet juicy tomatoes for your next smoothies.

I added peach on the ingredient because the peach color will complement the tomato and make the smoothies bright yellow. Avocado is for the base of creamy texture. If you are avoiding avocado, then add mango instead. Mango will make the color of the smoothies even brighter.

I use orange juice for the liquid, and again it is for adding the fresh taste. Feel free to replace orange juice with coconut water if you prefer. You can also make freshly squeezed orange juice and use it for this smoothies, and this is what I love the most.
